Event End Time:
Peak Solar Wind Speed (km/s): 700.0
Date of first appearance of coronal hole in EUV at east limb: 2026-07-15
Note: Characterized by an increase in solar wind speed from 390 km/s to 700 km/s at 2026-07-23T14:43Z. A subsequent increase in temperature is observed at this time from ~100,000 K to 600,000 K at 2026-07-23T13:43Z. Magnetic field components fluctuate rapidly throughout the signature between about +/-10nT. This signature is preceded by an increase in density, increasing from ~5 p/cc to 16 p/cc. This high speed stream likely originates from a coronal hole spanning N35 to S10 which reached the central meridian on 2026-07-20.
